A bit of an update on Kim Kardashian filing for a legal divorce from Kanye West. Apparently, during the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, she was embarrassed by Kanye’s performance.
Kanye West Apparently Embarrassed Kim Kardashian During “Runaway” Performance
For context, she attended the concert with their kids as a supportive gesture. Also present was sister Kendall Jenner. Perhaps Kardashian wasn’t exactly turned off by the overall performance but the ad-lib of “Runaway” where the lyrics were made into “I need you to run right back to me…more specifically, Kimberly”.

It got a pop from those in attendance but one person who didn’t pop was Kim. The $10 million production was packed with 70,000 fans and had many more watching via Amazon Prime. So, she was rightfully uncomfortable by Kanye leaving it all on the dancefloor with his lyrical plea.
This is in addition to parts of their private life that are already playing out in the public eye. Also, factor in that her own private life is on display as she has moved on with Pete Davidson. Having enough, she said “Check please” and put a button on her “married” status.
“This absolutely is true regarding Kim filing documents to become legally single and change her last name back to just Kardashian,” said a source in talking with HollywoodLife. “Kim hit her boiling point at the Kanye concert on Thursday night and as soon as he put her on the spot and embarrassed her in front of their kids and her family by saying ‘Run back to me Kimberly.’”

The source wasn’t done there adding that Kardashian “contacted her lawyer immediately. She didn’t see any other choice. Kanye is not only upsetting Kim and her family, but he is confusing their children with the things he is saying her kids are getting older and beginning to understand what he’s saying and what is going on.”
Kim K filed for the divorce in February but things have kind of lingered as there is a lot of things that need to be sorted. Perhaps because of the speed of which things were moving it seemed like there was a window to fix things with his estranged wife however after this stunt Kardashian hit fast forward with the quickness.
