Kim Kardashian has opened up on how she held back on making a joke about her sister Khloe Kardashian and her ex Tristan Thompson during her recent SNL debut.

The reality TV star was praised over the way in which she had come across on screen. While Kim did go on to have a sly dig at Kanye West, by virtue of her mocking his failed Presidential run, she stopped short of having a go at her sister and Tristan.
During an interview with i-D magazine, she said: “Although I had a really funny joke about Tristan [Thompson] and Khloé [Kardashian] that I took out – I could’ve maybe gone further. But everyone was like, Use me.”
On reflection, it was probably wise that Kim withdrew her remarks about the duo for the following reasons. First of all, since that moment, a woman has come out and declared Tristan as the father of her baby.
Therefore, any potential joke would have humiliatingly foreshadowed Tristan’s tendency to make bad decisions. Secondly, in any event, the two sisters are very close.
This is unlike Kanye, who Kim cannot wait to move on from as shown by her reportedly dropping the name West. She added: “I think people might not get that we’re absolutely in on the joke.
“We have a sense of humor. We roast each other as a family all day long…But, you know, SNL was a completely different audience.”
Nevertheless, Kim did not have any regrets about her performance. She would not have changed it for the world, and there are even rumours emerging that she would be open to making another appearance on the show at some point in the future.
No decision has been made in that regard as of yet, and for now, she is happy to revel in the success of it. She stated: “That was super cool…And it was fun.”
It is quite clear that Kim does not hesitate in going after those who have hurt her. With that in mind, if her divorce with Kanye does not get resolved smoothly, then the rapper could easily end up in the firing line once again.
