Kim Kardashian has been slammed following her comments on the 110-year sentence that was given to Rogel Aguilera-Mederos.

Rogel, for his part, was sentenced after his actions led to the death of 4 people and injured others. Although he was not driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as the fact that the brakes on the vehicle were deemed to have failed, he was still given a hefty punishment.
In response, Kim decided to speak out by suggesting that this was totally out of order and disproportionate.
In an official statement at the time, she said: “Another shocking and unfair part of this case is that the judge didn’t want to sentence him to such a lengthy sentence.
“However, because of the mandatory minimums in Colorado, his hands were tied.” Naturally, these comments were very dangerous for the following reasons.
First of all, just because Kim thought that the punishment was too much, that does not mean that members from the victims’ families would agree.
And so it showed, as according to TMZ, Kathleen Harrison has come forward to speak out against Kim, after her husband Doyle had died in the crash.
TMZ stated: “[She] thinks Kim is just a loudmouth who has no clue about the case. Kathleen says the accident was avoidable, but Rogel just threw caution to the wind.”
Secondly, Kim does not have any legal qualifications irrespective of her passing the Bar exam. Therefore, there is no difference in opinion between what she has to say and an ordinary Joe on the street. This is particularly true when her comments seemed to be looking down upon the families of the deceased.
Kathleen’s following comments confirmed as much: “I don’t think that we want our local proceedings in any state taken over by who has the loudest mouth out there, because people don’t know all the details, they are running on emotion.”
This story has shown that it is probably wise that Kim avoids getting herself embroiled in legal matters until she becomes qualified to do so. In this way, her words may end up having a lot of weight after all.
