Since she arrived with Karrion Kross in the WWE, Scarlett Bordeaux was expected to rise to the top with Kross as they’d dominate the men and women’s divisions in the main brand like they did in NXT.
Scarlett recently admitted that her dream match was for her and Kross to face Bray Wyatt at The Fiend alongside Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania, but with Wyatt, Kross, and her release that’s obviously not going to happen under those circumstances.
While that plan was derailed, Scarlett also spent the last few months in WWE on the shelf as strictly a valet/manager for Kross, and she recently opened up about the reason why.
Smackdown dark match opportunity
Scarlett appeared on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions alongside Killer nee Karrion Kross.
There she talked about how wrestling a dark match for Smackdown went from an opportunity to leaving her sidelined for the last few months of her time there.

“I wasn’t medically cleared yet. I was having matches before Raw and SmackDown because they wanted me to wrestle. After the second match, everything was going great, I get home and look in the mirror and I’m like, ‘One of these doesn’t look like the other.’ [referencing her boobs]. The next day was NXT and I immediately go to medical and I’m like, ‘Hey, I’m not sure if I’m going crazy or if they always looked like this. Maybe I’m just tired.’ With the adrenaline from wrestling, you don’t notice certain things hurt all the time, so I didn’t think anything of it. I went to medical and they were like, ‘Yes, one of your boobs is totally gone.’ I was like, ‘I can get the surgery and can manage and be ringside, that’s no problem, I just can’t wrestle right away.’ The plan was, I guess for me to wrestle so they were like, ‘When you’re totally clear, you’re gonna wrestle.’ They scrapped all the managing stuff at that point and I was sitting at home for those last four months just waiting.”
Nothing is worse than waiting, but having a dream cut off by losing an opportunity is even worse.
It’s great to see her and Kross as staying in the public eye since they’ve been released and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in the future. If it’s anything like they gave us before, it’s going to be an awesome ride.
