Tania Maduro had traveled to South Africa to meet a man, who didn’t show up. It was then she met Bartender, Syngin Colchester and they fell in love. She ended up staying for more than four months. They eventually moved to the US to get married even though fans already thought the relationship wouldn’t last due to Tania’s rigid nature and Syngin’s carefree attitude.

Unfortunately, they started to be moving towards divorce by the end of the season. The duo briefly appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life season 2, and announced their separation, before the show aired Syngin’s journey as a single man.
Tania recently had a Q&A on Instagram and a fan asked her, “If you could change 1 thing in your relationship with Syngin, what would you do different?” while she replied, “Letting go more of the responsibility I felt for his happiness.”
The TLC star continued to talk about how Syngin felt unhappy and how she tried to come up with activities to make him more comfortable. After trying camping or going to the bar, or even taking a class, the duo eventually wore themselves out.

At some point, Tania thought Syngin was the love of her life, so she did all she could to make him happy. “I was so focused on what can I do for him to make happy… that I wore myself out, and then in return him,” She said.
Even though the do announced their breakup with comments like “We are finito,” or “Do not resuscitate,” some 90 Day Fiancé fans still believe they were the perfect couple, and they were not happy to see Syngin on the spin-off.
While Syngin may be ready to move on and start seeing other women, Tania is still hurt, but she says that she is ready to learn from the past and has created a new five-year plan. Her fans can’t wait to see what this year has for her.
