Following their release by the WWE, B-Fab and the rest of Hit Row haven’t been too shy about their thoughts and feelings from making the WWE tons of money to their idea of feuding with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline.
One thing that’s garnered some attention, though it’s often lost in the cascade of news about former WWE talent being released, is the state of the WWE contracts.
The WWE recently released coaches from NXT as they’re wiping away everything Triple H did, and it brought up B-Fab’s comments the last week or so about WWE and how they look at their contracts.
A roll of the dice
2021 was a rough year for talent in the WWE with roughly 81 people released for “budget reasons” that fuels speculation that the WWE is really for sale and they’re trying to trim their bottom line.
A few of those releases involved the recently called up Hit Row faction that was one of the hottest things in the WWE, but after a few appearances it was decided to release them.
It’s an interesting decision as they were enormously popular in NXT and had many speculating that they’d feud with the Bloodline in what would’ve been a fun exchange.
But the WWE had other plans, and at virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest, B-Fab shared her thoughts on WWE contracts. Special thanks to wrestlinginc.com for the transcript.
“It’s a sad situation because I don’t even know if you could call it a contract. Most contracts have to be worked through until they’re finished. So with them being able to terminate whenever, it’s more in the lines of an agreement these days. If you want to live your life, you can’t put your life onto this agreement because they can change whenever they want.
“So it’s kind of hard for you to do life and plan for you when you don’t know what could happen from day-to-day. It’s not as secure, it’s a very scary situation to put yourself in. If you’re putting your all into that and you really want that, just like all of us, me included. It’s very difficult to say if it’s even worth it.”
Finish what’s started
She also explained that despite that lack of security, she’d go back to finish her run and achieve her goals.
“I would because there are so many things obviously that us as a group still has to accomplish and wanted to accomplish as a group. And definitely, I would go back for the fans, of course. Because you guys are amazing. The support is just insane.”
We love how she’s so appreciative of the fans and wish her the best going forward. She’ll be a hit wherever she goes or does as will the rest of Hit Row.
With any luck the WWE will realize what they’re missing and bring them back.
