‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to head into the end of the week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
We’re going to get some interesting moments in this episode as more character building is underway and there’s going to be some interesting choices forthcoming.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, January 14: Adam’s unhappy news
There’s no timing like bad timing in Genoa City, and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s going to have plenty of that when he gives Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) some upsetting news.
This will come just as Chelsea thinks she’s working her way back into Adam’s romantic life, and it’s going to have a pretty hard effect on her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think the news will be one of two things. The first being that Adam puts a hard stop on her efforts to return to what they were.
The other is Adam tells her he’s going to New York for business. Chelsea knows Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is going to New York thanks to her, and she’ll put two and two together and she won’t be happy.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, January 14: Chance needs help
It looks like Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is finally going to see the light and encourage Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) to get some help.
While it’s great to see Abby realize there’s something more going on than her immediate concerns, we’re partially expecting her to want him to get help so he can better adjust to be a father instead of help dealing with his PTSD.
We hope we’re wrong and she’ll see the bigger picture instead of creating the perfect family, but we don’t have high hopes after the last year of questionable choices.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, January 14: Amanda’s on the case
Amanda Sinclair (Michael Morgan) is going full speed ahead to make sure Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) gets the best case possible to get his parental rights back for Dominic.
She’s one of the best around and we have no doubt she’ll be able to win this for him, but the damage done is going to be pretty good.
While Devon does have a legitimate point in this, the fact he’s going to destroy so many friendships over wanting to ensure Dominic doesn’t have stress is going to be an interesting one.
It’s not like Dominic is in danger, but there is a sort of logic to Devon’s thinking. We’re just curious if he’ll go through with this no matter what, or will he pull back before any real damage is done.
