‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies that look like we’re in for some fun betrayals.
Of course, we’d expect nothing else to come out of Genoa City, and we’re curious if these kernels will lead to anything meaningful or will be simply explained away.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 18: Putting their heads together
This should be an interesting scene and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will strategize with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
What they’ll be working on is anyone’s guess, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think it’ll be work based at first. Basically, we think it’ll turn into a custody session before too long.
If it does, we’re curious if Mariah will be able to keep from going back on the progress she made while understanding and talking Devon through his situation.
It is hard to imagine her not entertaining the notion it could lead to her getting some rights, but we doubt that’ll be more than a passing thought.
Our fear is that this will be treated like a drug addiction where she’ll need a fix of Dominic to help her feel better. It’s a stretch, but at this point it wouldn’t surprise us.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 18: Nikki catches Ashland
Nothing like some good snooping, whether accidental or not, to make things interesting since it nearly always means they miss part of the conversation.
We suspect Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will happen to walk in on Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) having a conversation.
She’ll hear part of it or just one side if he’s on the phone, and it’ll look like he’s up to something.
We’ve been saying that since the beginning, and since no one bothers to go with him to his doctor appointments or investigate it further, things will end badly whether he’s trying to take back power or Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) thinks that are.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 18: Phyllis’ painful reminder
This is going to be a tough scene emotionally as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will receive something from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and it won’t be fun.
It could be that she’ll come across a picture or something else that’ll remind her of their time together, but it’s also possible Nick will send her some pictures he found or were sent to him.
Given how hard they worked to overcome their past problems it’s a shame the Newman family came between them. They deserved better and Nick really needs to get his backbone checked.
