A Newman family war is in the air, and we have every reason to expect the two main combatants to target each other by not targeting each other.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) joined the team and already has his first set of marching orders. And it’s a sensitive nature to boot, which means it’ll probably blow up in someone’s face at some point.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think it’ll involve doing some digging through the legal history and preparing to evict Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) from the Newman family if needed.
There’s always the chance he’ll be looking to protect Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) from any possible attacks, which would explain his sudden turnaround on Adam’s abilities.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can’t have his legacy tarnished even if it costs him his children and their happiness. But he doesn’t think he pits one against the other.

With Victor looking to protect himself against his children’s bad choices (basically everything he agree with) as subtly as possible, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) isn’t taking the same route.
Well, at least she’s going to be honest with those closest to her unlike Victor. It’s easy to think she’s going to go after Victor, but we think she’s targeting Adam.
There is the next step in her and Ashland’s plan to oust Adam and help move Victor’s decision along, just what that’s going to be in an excellent question.
Whether it’s Adam, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), or someone else, it’s never good to be in Victoria’s sights.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 25: Tempting offer
Phyllis has been restless and seemingly adrift since splitting with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but she’s going to get a tempting offer that could reignite the fires in her and give her something to focus on.
She’s been having a hard time dealing with things as she has a limited number of friends that aren’t ex husbands, and she doesn’t want to run to them every time.
So, we think this could be a surprise visit by her daughter and family via an invitation to dinner Nick will deliver to help her spirits.
