Kanye West has fired back at his critics to demonstrate just how much he cares about his children with Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West Blasts The Media-‘I Don’t Play When It Comes To My Children’
Kanye West and his ex Kim Kardashian have reportedly been going through disagreements when it comes to co-parenting. And this all came to a head during the rapper’s daughter Chicago’s 4th birthday party.
Disagreements had emerged as to where or when Kanye could attend. But rather than trying to engage in a slanging match, he wanted to let the whole world know exactly how much he appreciated his children.
In an interview on ‘Hollywood Unlocked’ Kanye stated how nothing would come between him and his children. He said: “I don’t play when it comes to my children. This is for anybody going through a separation.
“They can make jokes in the media. They can plant stories about whoever I’m dating. They can block deals or do whatever that type of stuff, but I’m going to tell you straight up: Don’t play with my kids.”
One of the ways that Kanye felt his actions were being twisted was when he bought a house across the road from Kim. This was interpreted to mean that he was desperate to make things work between him and Kim.
However, for Kanye, it was simply a move so that he could be within touching distance of his children. So when his intentions were portrayed as anything but that, he had a lot to say about it all.
He stated: “That’s why I even got the house. … Nothing with my career, with this rap, with this media, with none of that [is] gonna keep me from my children. The kids are literally going to be in walking distance.”
Kanye is putting his children first, which should be commended. If he can manage to show Kim Kardashian just how devoted he is to them, then it is only a matter of time before relations between the pair become more cordial.
But if Kanye West continues to speak out without any actions backing up that behaviour, then it is unlikely to lead to any change. So do you agree with what Kanye has had to say?
