‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies to help get ready for hump day.
Things are starting to get interesting in Genoa City as there’s plenty of digging into the past and some concern for the Newman matriarch.
If nothing else, this is a step to another possible let down when it comes to the next underwhelming Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) reveal.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 16: Adam’s the one
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will continue to dig into Ashland’s past with a gusto he didn’t have previously because then it would’ve alienated Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and now he’ll be canonized as he hero.
In his mind, at any rate.
To do this, he’s going to go to the best person he knows in the media and that’s Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Of course, since Adam’s family, Victor will think he’ll do it simply because.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have a feeling Adam will see the writing on the wall that it’s just Victor using him as a scapegoat if things go sour.
It’ll also make perfect sense that it’s why Victor insisted he keep his position. But Victor will deny all of that without hesitating while continuing to pit them against each other.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 16: Nick checks in on Nikki
Lost amid Victor finding new ways to pull his family apart is Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’s always the one fixing the fissures Victor creates.
With Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) checking in on her, it brings to mind that her MS could be flaring up with all the stress and things she’s been dealing with.
It’s make sense given the near constant strain she’s under, but we think it’s more likely that Nick is just being the good son that’s checking in to see how she’s doing.
She’ll appreciate it and it’ll give her strength for the upcoming Newman war. On the plus side, this should be a touching scene between them before it delves into a “what has Victor done now” debate.
It’ll end amicably, but there almost has to be some fireworks going off, and if Nick hears Victor doesn’t trust Ashland, Nick will feel like he fell on his sword for nothing.
Which is basically true. Maybe this will be the start of Nick growing a backbone and permanently breaking away from Victor?
How long before Victor throws Adam under he bus again? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
