Conor McGregor has made himself yet another enemy via Twitter. This time, he’s taken aim at heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury, seemingly all because Fury threw a compliment at McGregor’s arch-nemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov. It all began when Tyson Fury praised Khabib on Twitter, which lit a fire under Conor McGregor.
“Yup the Joyces. Big Joe ! U bottled it with Billy joe Da , what were you doing there ? ULeft him, Versace twat U.Done.Nothing. Ya’s did it right ye right hahahahaaj. Even when I’m wrong i’m right. Who did it right ? The Mac daddy tonight, in house. Miami d12! Bahamas 🇧🇸 #skyjuice”
McGregor and Tyson Fury Feud on Twitter
Translation: McGregor believes Tyson Fury is a coward for failing to intervene when Billy Joe Saunders’ dad was shoved by security at a Canelo Alvarez fight. McGregor himself hopped on a plane to New York from Dublin and threw a trolley at a bus when Khabib shoved his friend Artem Lobov.
After that, McGregor famously lost to Khabib in 2018, succumbing to the lightweight champ via rear naked choke. Tyson Fury was quick to remind McGregor of his abysmal fight record of late.
“Come back when u win a fight mush, & the difference in me & you is i don’t get myself in trouble & people actually like me, your just a bully who hit old man, & yes Big up the hulk Joe, #morecambebay. in the house.”
Here, Fury is referencing an infamous incident in which Conor McGregor assaulted an elderly man in Dublin. McGregor, promoting his whiskey Proper 12, offered the man a glass, and when he refused McGregor punched the man in the head. Fury’s response stirred McGregor up even more, resulting in a tirade of Tweets.
“Oh no people don’t like me what will I ever do hahahahaaha idiot. You are just a little rim licker bro. That’s all. You stood there while your friends father was being attacked and done nothing. That’s the be all end all bro. God luck, God bless.”
He continued: “Wipe his arse with your tongue bro U missed a spot hahahahah And I’m not talking Khabib you Rim licker, do what you’re told, I answer to no one.
Get that Versace off you, you done nothing.” Tyson Fury finished by stating that McGregor had done “more tapping than MJs old dance shoes”.
