Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one as Matt Taven and Mike Bennett face Rich Swann and Rhino, W. Morrissey and Brian Myers clash in a no DQ match, and Deonna Purrazzo issues an open challenge for her titles.
We can’t wait for it to start, but we’re going to grab some snacks before settling and getting Impact Wrestling Live Results rolling at its 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
Before the Impact – Alisha vs. Lady Frost
This was a fun one to start the night off. Alisha controlled through most of the match, but Lady Frost rallied and hit a Temperature Drop for the win.
Gisele Shaw came out to steal Frost’s spotlight to close the segment and Frost didn’t look happy.
Segment 2
Josh Alexander vs. Big Kon
After Josh invoked his rematch clause, Big Kon came out. After an initial flurry, Josh won by submission via an ankle lock.
Josh refused to let Kon go, so security came out and he took them all out and shoved Scott D’Amore.
After a back and forth, Scott pulled Josh from the No Surrender match and sent him home.
Segment 3
ROH Women’s World Championship – Deonna Purrazzo vs. Santana Garrett
This was a good back and forth and Santana came close, but Deonna eventually won with a bridge like pin for the win.
Segment 4
Mickie James vs. Chelsea Green
This felt more like a workout as they felt each other out with Tasha Steelz with the commentary team.
It started to get interesting when Green dropped Mickie with Tasha’s move, so Tasha threw trash into the ring to distract her and Evans wiped out Green’s legs on the apron to give her the DQ win.
Segment 5
Matt Taven and Mick Bennett w/Maria Kennelis vs. Rich Swan and Rhino
This was a decent match, and Maria threw chalk into Rhino’s eyes for Taven to his the Climax for the win.
Afterwards, Macklin came out to help and was reluctantly welcomed to Team Impact.
Segment 6
No Disqualification Match – W. Morrissey vs. Brian Myers w/The Learning Tree (VSK, Zicky Dice)
Morrissey won a good match with two powerbombs onto tacks, and Moose attacked him from behind with the title belt when it was over.
Moose then put a chair around Morrissey’s neck and hit it several times with another before he left, holding the championship belt high.
This was a fun show, but a little more talk and promo heavy than we’re accustomed to seeing. What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining Impact Wrestling Live Results.
We had a awesome time and can’t wait to see you all next week.
See you then!
