Tonight’s going to be a fun one as Eddie Edwards will explain why he turned on Impact to help Honor No More, and Jordynne Grace will get a rematch for the Digital Media Championship against Matt Cardona in a DotCombat Match.
We’re going to get ready and be back here at 8 p.m. EST show time to kick off Impact Wrestling Live Results.
Segment 1
Before The Impact (BTI) – Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton and Mike Bailey vs. Jake Something and Trey Miguel
This was an exciting match that was a blink and you’ll miss it type with a little of everything before Ace rolled Jake up with a bridge for the win.
Segment 2
Moose gave a promo how he’s responsible for Eddie Edwards because people go downhill after facing him.
Heath came out and challenged him and after Moose said he didn’t care about Heath’s family, Heath took him out with a Wake Up Call.
Segment 3
Digital Media Championship – DotCombat Match – Matt Cardona (c) vs. Jordynne Grace
This was a fun one with keyboards, mice, and selfie sticks as it was no disqualification. After a hard fought battle, Cardona rammed Grace into a chair in the ropes, then rolled her up for the pin while holding onto the ropes.
Segment 4
Bhupinder Gujjar vs John-Skyler
Gujjar ended a solid match with a spear off the middle rope, and Morrissey came out and powerbombed Skyler throogh the announce table when Skyler prevented him from getting a hold of Brian Myers.
Segment 5
AAA Reina De Reinas Championship – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Lady Frost
This was a good back and forth with Purrazzo focusing on Frost’s left leg and won with a Venus de Milo for the submission.
Segment 6
This was another quick one for Jonah as Dice got some early shots in before Jonah flattened him with a powerbomb and a Tsunami for extra message points.
Segment 7
Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Kenny King w/Honor No More vs. Willie Mack, Rich Swann, Chris Sabin w/Heath and Rhino
This was a good but quick match as Bennet and Taven hit a tandem package and big boot on Mack for the pin.
Segment 8
After the match ended, Eddie Edwards came out and said he joined Honor No More because Rich Swann failed and let Kenny Omega take the title, and Sami Calihan and Moose failed to get it back.
But the final straw was him being passed over for Josh Alexander to get his shot while the fans cheered for it.
Alisha came out and called him out for it, and he told her his family is Honor No More and he’ll walk away from anyone that turns their back on him.
He and Honor No More left the ring with Alisha standing in it to close the show.
This was a great show with plenty of top flight matches and the storytelling didn’t miss a beat.
