‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Denise Richards has admitted that she has a very difficult relationship with her daughter Sami.

Denise, for her part, shares Sami with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. And given that Sami is living with her father, they have become more distant. This has not been helped by further news that her daughter had decided to drop out of school.
And this has been something very difficult for Denise to get to grips with. In an interview on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live show, Denise said: “Honestly, I have a strained relationship with her. It’s very difficult.
“I know we’ll get back to where we were eventually but right now, it is strained.” Although she does have the support of Charlie, the very fact of the matter is that they have not necessarily seen eye-to-eye on certain things.
Densie admitted that she disagreed with the decision for Sami to drop out of school, but given that she has gone through her teenage years, trying to convince Sami of the opposite has been hard.
Things also had to be viewed in light of the fact that Sami had spent the majority of her life living with Denise. Naturally, as her mother, Denise just wants to have an input.
She added: “But I think it’s very difficult raising teenagers now and especially in Los Angeles when there’s access to everything.
“There are certain rules and I enforce them. And [at Sheen’s], there’s different rules at that house.” Despite Denise’s efforts, there is no denying that Sami was not happy prior to moving in with her father.
She had infamously posted on social media about how her mental health had suffered. In the video here, we can see that Sami was crying.
The video was captioned by the following comments: “1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school, etc.”
