WWE Smackdown Results returned as In-Zayn got underway with Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick boogs as his guest.

Sami shrugged off his ongoing feud with Johnny Knoxville and refocused on his quest for the Intercontinental Championship and his mocking of the fans was interrupted by Boogs and Nakamura’s self-introduction.

Sami accused Nakamura of ducking him and he can’t wait to see the look on his face when he beats him to reclaim hit title.

    .@SamiZayn had a few tricks up his sleeve… #SmackDown @ShinsukeN @rickboogswwe pic.twitter.com/zl9R84ZWPi

Sami accused him of working with Knoxville, and Nakamura asked if he saw the movie they’re making this week called “Jackass Defeated” meaning Sami.

Sami turned his attention to insulting Boogs until he had enough to tell Sami to shut up. When he grabbed he mic, he was shocked into unconsciousness.

When Nakamura tended to Boogs, Sami hit a Helluva kick to Nakamura and left them in the ring.

    Happy Corbin vs. Cesaro

The match was underway when we returned from the commercial break, and Corbin dropped Cesaro with face slam into the turnbuckle and a blow to the back after eating a couple of forearms.

Corbin remained in control until Cesaro fought out of a neck hold but Corbin hit a Deep Six off the ropes for a near pinfall.

Cesaro sent Corbin to the floor with an uppercut, and Corbin pulled him to the floor. Cesaro sent him into the barricade, then threw Corbin into the ring.

After trading blows, Corbin hit an End of Days for the win.

This was a pretty good match despite it being so short.

    Goldberg’s unimpressed

Michael Cole sat down with Goldberg, and Goldberg told him not to take this personally and he loves him like a brother.

Cole said people are saying this is one comeback too many, and Goldberg said he’s listened to some of those people and it’s taken him out of his game. So, he doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

"As far as comebacks are concerned… this one is gonna stick."#SmackDown #UniversalTitle @Goldberg pic.twitter.com/bRL9vmDOCE

    — WWE (@WWE) February 12, 2022

This one will be everlasting and call back the old Goldberg.

When asked about the match being scheduled two years ago, Goldberg said Reigns may have changed but he hasn’t. He’s the same old Goldberg.

Goldberg said he acknowledged Reigns last week as his next victim, and Reigns will acknowledge him as the winner. He wished him good luck Goldberging Goldberg.

Smackdown Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Naomi

Flair started it off with a pair of shoulder blocks, but Naomi kipped up and hit a hurricanrana.

Naomi caught Flair with a kick to send her to the floor, then hit a crossbody over the top rope as we headed to commercial.

We returned with Flair back in control and working Naomi over in the corner, but Naomi fought free with a jawbreaker, then she hit another crossbody for a near pinfall.

    — WWE (@WWE) February 12, 2022

Naomi sidestepped a big boot and hit a jawbreaker, then attempted a pair of pin attempts before eating a couple of knife edge chops and a backbreaker for a near pinfall.

Flair dragged Naomi to a corner and wrapped her around the ring post, but walked into a kick to the face in the ring.

Naomi hit the Blockbuster, but Flair kicked out of the pin attempt and rolled to the floor.

Naomi followed her to the floor, and Flair sent her into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.

Back from commercial and they’re back in the ring with Flair cinching in a rear chin lock Naomi broke with a jawbreaker.

Naomi bulldogged Flair into the turnbuckle, but Flair ducked her leap off the top rope, then caught her hurricanrana attempt and turned it into a powerbomb for a near pinfall.

Naomi had a series of big moves for pin attempts, including a second split legged moonsault attempt but Flair wouldn’t give up.

Flair dodged a Rearview and hit a chop block and Natural Selection for the win.

This was an awesome match and pay-per-view quality.

After the match, Deville came into the ring and mocked Naomi for losing and Naomi hammered away on her, but Flair nailed Naomi from behind and hit a big boot.

Deville stomped away on Naomi and Rousey came running out and chased Flair to the floor. When Rousey tried to go after Deville’s arm Flair pulled her out of the ring.
