Fans know that Yara really wanted to leave New Orleans when she first came to America, but her husband has family and friends in Louisiana, and his mom, Gwen did not like the idea of her son leaving home.

During Hurricane Ida, Jovi and Dufren had to evacuate their home, and they went to Dallas, Texas, with their little one, Mylah to wait out the storm. Ever since, the family of three have been traveling the country and been considering movig to a new state to reside there permanently.
During an Instagram Q&A, Jovi shared that they have narrowed their relocation options down to four states. He told a fan who asked that, “Florida, Texas are the main 2. Others we have considered/talked about are Tennessee, Arizona, and really that’s it.” The couple have ruled out Chicago because it was “too cold,” but Jovi also stated that they still wanted to visit a few more states before making their final decision.

It appears Jovi is under pressure from his family not to leave Lousiana, which may be the reason finding a permanent residence is proving difficult. But fans know that Yara has never been happy there. When another fan asked Jovi about his favorite family vacation spot, he told them that it was Miami, Florida, hands down. “For some reason every time we take Mylah to Miami she is so well behaved and just loving life there.”
He also said that it was the beaches and pools that Mylah probably likes best. Perhaps, Jovi and Yara should put Florida at the top of their list. The 90 Day Fiancé couple love traveling a lot. Fans know that they met on a travel app.
Now that they have a baby, they probably think its time to settle down and it appears that they are taking it serioysly as they are traveling to each of the places they’re thinking making their permanent residence and really get a feel for the city.
