‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to start the knew week off with some spoilery goodies.
We’re in for an emotional episode as we have a couple of tense meetings and some justification coming our way. It looks like we’d better grab some popcorn for this one.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 14: Victor takes action
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will continue to shift his focus from protecting his company and legacy to his daughter as he tries to put his priorities straight.
We still think he holds his company above Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and this is just a brief adjustment to his moral compass as protecting her is the only way he can win her back.
So, we’re expecting him to either send more people to Peru or take what information he has and continue to package it as absolute proof.
Kinda like when he told Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) he had the proof he’s still looking for, and when he accused Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) of cheating on Victoria.
If he can’t win with absolute facts, twisting things works just as well. Honestly, we think it’d be an awesome twist that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) actually did have cancer and his truth will win out.
It’ll make Victor reevaluate his methods and rebuild, creating more engaging storylines, but that won’t happen. Victor isn’t allowed to be wrong like that.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 14: Nikki confronts Ashland
On the flip side, there’s no doubting Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has Victoria’s best interest at heart and she’s remained on the fence in regards to Ashland.
But that won’t stop her from inquiring from him about Victor’s accusations.
The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Ashland to explain himself as passionately and straight forward as he was with Nate, and that’s in his best interest.
As long as he keeps it simple and straight forward it’s harder to find fault with what he’s saying or for him to trip up on a lie.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 14: Extended family
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been on a quest to learn more about his son and try to move past losing him after not trying harder to reconnect.
And he’s going to take a gut punch when he meets his granddaughter, Allie Abbott (Kelsey Wang). She’s going to be the key as she’ll either be the one that texted him or a tool the real texter is using.
We still think it’s possible for Keemo Abbott (Philip Moon) to be using this as a tactic to bring Jack to him to see and learn more about him before reconnecting.
This may be a long shot, but it feels like the only way to salvage this storyline after a couple of decades without seeing Keemo and Jack interact as left many of us disconnected with this storyline as it’s continued.
