Over the past year, we’ve seen the career of Baron Corbin go through a series of ups and downs. Something that helped to get him back to the top of Smackdown Live was the help of Riddick Moss, now going by the name of Madcap Moss. This partnership has gotten Moss into some major PPV matches against Drew McIntyre – someone who sees the insane potential of Moss.
Drew McIntyre Sees A Bright Future Ahead Of Madcap Moss
Having clashes with him at WWE Day One and Elimination Chamber, McIntyre got a taste of just what someone like Moss is capable of. Now, while speaking on WWE The Bump – McIntyre would say the following about Moss.
“When it comes to Madcap, he’s somebody I’ve always seen potential and I was around him at NXT,” said Drew. “I’ve watched just how hard he works. He’s been injured a couple of times, a couple of significant injuries – he’s not let it deter him, he’s comeback. He’s a big guy, he’ll look great on a poster.
But when it comes to the in-ring aspects, he works so hard, he is very good. He was an incredible human being during his time in NXT. Unfortunately, he’s gone down a bad path, I’ve been there myself, he’s aligned himself with Corbin, his first mistake, his second mistake was going after Drew McIntyre, but hopefully starting to see the light now. He’s certainly got a very bright future.”
All Tag Teams In WWE Seem To End Eventually
The partnership between Madcap Moss & Happy Corbin is sailing steady for now, but things can change quickly in WWE. Wrestlemania generally brings the end of many storylines in the company, and is a prime time for someone to split off.
Being able to go right into a feud with Corbin as a babyface is a solid way to get fans behind Moss, who has proven his skills and gained some respect. WWE might wait for the 2022 Draft to pull this off, but Moss could well become a champion before the end of the year is through.
