On WWE Raw, RK-Bro and the Street Profits faced off and things didn’t go as planned.
According to Fightful Select and wrestlinginc.com, Randy Orton and Riddle were supposed to win, but an injury to Orton’s right shoulder called for a change of plans.
It was a good match, but the ending was off after Orton took a From the Heavens from Montez Ford and awkwardly rolled to his corner as Ford appeared shaken up as well.
Ford went on to score pin and Orton tried to reach the rope with his foot but failed. After the match there was a discussion in the ring between the Street Profits, Orton, Riddle, and the ref as Orton lay in the ring.
The finish looked like someone missed something or a possible injury, and when Orton left the ring, he looked to be favoring his right shoulder.
Here’s what happened after the RK-Bro and Street Profits match.

Tweaking plans
It’s been reported that the original outcome was RK-Bro winning after hitting a series of RKOs on Ford and Dawkins, but due to Orton’s injury plans had to change on the fly.
This opens up a can of worms for next week’s raw where RK-Bro is supposed to face Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens and Alpha Academy in a Triple Threat match for the Raw Tag Team Championship.
But with the Street Profits winning, it can be argued, and probably will, that they should be added to the match to make it a Fatal 4 Way.
Or at the very least, they’ll be next in line to face the defending champion afterwards.
More than likely, if Orton’s injury is worse than has been released, they could replace RK-Bro in the match.
There’s plenty of room for the WWE to maneuver in this, so it’ll be interesting to see what they’ll do but we expect a Fatal 4 Way since Orton’s expected to be healthy.
It’s the WWE’s standard operating system.
Orton’s not seriously injured
It’s been reported that the WWE is monitoring Orton’s condition, but it appears it may be nothing more than him having the wind knocked out of him and not being able to move.
Ford even tweeted after the show and it appears he mentioned that Orton’s okay.
Pinned a World Champion.
Got the Woman.
And everyone is healthy.

It also looks like Ford’s not facing any heat for it as it’s being chalked up to a “sh—happens” type of situation.
We’re glad everything looks okay with Orton and Ford, but we’ll keep our eyes out for more news.
