Denise Richards has tried to put behind any bad blood she may have with her daughter ,Sami, to wish her a happy 18th birthday.
RHOBH: Denise Richards Wishes Her Daughter Sami A Happy 18th Birthday Amid Their ‘Strained’ Relationship
Denise, for her part, shares Sami with her ex Charlie Sheen. While they continue to have co-parenting relations, Denise admitted that things between her daughter and herself were ‘strained.’
This was on the back end of Sami moving out of Denise’s house in order to go live with Charlie. Although Sami did express her dissatisfaction publicly in living with Denise, the latter wanted to let her daughter know that she had her best interests at heart.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Denise shared a series of pictures of Sami showing her from a young age to who she is now. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Happy Birthday my beautiful Sami. I love you so much.
“Privately many more words to share with you. I love you unconditionally and I am very blessed & grateful to be your mom. And Nana is looking down celebrating with you. I love you my sweet Sami.”
And by the looks of it, Sami was on hand to receive the message. She replied in kind which clearly demonstrated that whatever differences they had, have been put to the side, even if it is just potentially for the birthday.
And given what the pair have been through, this was welcomed indeed. In her reply, Sami stated: “Thank you so much mom i love you too.” The reaction on social media was very positive.
A significant proportion of people understood the difficulty that Denise was going through, as there were a number of people that had similar co-parenting relations.
One person wrote: “I hope you find peace with her. I know the feeling. My daughter is almost 17. Lives with her dad too. We barely speak. It’s tough!!”
Hopefully, this is the start of something that leads to Denise and her daughter finally reconciling fully. And with the world being in such a volatile place, it would be great to see the pair bury the hatchet for good. So there you have it folks.
