At NXT: Stand & Deliver, Mandy Rose has her hardest test yet as NXT Women’s Champion. Cora Jade, Kay Lee Ray & Io Shirai are all looking to take her gold away, and put an end to the control of Toxic Attraction. Tonight, we hear from the NXT Women’s Champion herself.
Mandy Rose Is Ready To Take The Spotlight In Dallas – Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez Are Back Together
We heard from Shirai & KLR earlier in the night, who got their shot by winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They acknowledge each other as two of the best wrestlers in the world – but it’s every woman for herself at Stand & Deliver. Cora Jade acknowledged herself as the underdog in the match, but winning the gold would validate her childhood dreams.
Meanwhile, Rose is ready for another big match. She was supposed to face Cora Jade one on one, before Shirai & KLR jumped the line. They exploited the wording up Rose saying she’d ‘fight any woman’, as she meant one on one – not all at once.
However, Rose is not scared. She’s the baddest bitch in the game, and has the best backup in the game. Toxic Attraction rules NXT, and this Saturday – she will humiliate Jade, send Shirai packing from NXT, and send KLR back under whatever bridge she crawled out from. In the end, she will cement herself as the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time.
However, tonight the focus is on Wendy Choo & Dakota Kai – who failed to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Even after Shirai & KLR won, they were too scared to go after Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin. They have taken down everyone, and this Saturday – they can take an easy night as no one will face them.
Dakota Kai would realise that Wendy Choo was beaten down by Toxic Attraction as they scattered her stuff in the ring. She’d rush the ring but was dropped by the trio. Her former best friend and tag partner would rush the ring, that being Raquel Gonzalez. Finally back on the same page, they’d fight Toxic Attraction off – and sealed the deal with a massive hug.
Bodhi Hayward Gets A Lesson In Getting His Ass Kicked
Andre Chase’s star pupil took a right hand from Von Wagner, and now Bodhi Hayward is looking for revenge. Since aligning with Robert Stone, Von Wagner has been more aggressive than ever before. Tonight, he might be the victim of a teachable moment. Jacket Time would be at ringside doing ‘Japanese commentary’.
Hayward would rush Wagner out of the ring, and drive him into the steel steps. Back into the ring, Wagner would nail a heavy knee strike – before some measured punches to the face. Some shoulder thrusts in the corner would punish Hayward, before the double underhook suplex.
Hayward went to the apron and got a sunset flip over the ropes for a two count, before running into a Scott Hall esque fallaway slam. Wagner would go for a big boot, before Hayward dodge. The chopblock and shoulder block would cut Wagner down before Hayward looked for the powerslam.
Instead, he got his face slammed off the middle turnbuckle – and slammed for the finish. After the bell, Wagner would assault Jacket Time, dropping Ikeman Jiro in the ring. The jacket of Jiro would be torn in half, a sign of disrespect.
