Tonight looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as Big E and Kofi Kingston look for retribution on Sheamus and Ridge Holland for destroying Big E’s ATV last week.
We’ll be back and ready to kick WWE Smackdown Live Results into gear at the 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
Brock Lesnar demanded blood after being attacked by the Bloodline last Saturday, and when Paul Heyman came out as Roman Reigns isn’t there for Lesnar’s protection, Lesnar went after him and chased Heyman out of the building.
Segment 2
Big E and Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland w/Butch
Big E and Kofi attacked Sheamus and Holland right away and kept up the pressure, but Sheamus and Holland gained the upper hand as we headed to commercial after taking out the New Day on the floor.
Segment 3
Sheamus pinned Kofi after Butch distracted him on the top rope, but before that Ridge hit a belly to belly suplex on Big E on the floor. Big E hit directly on the top of his head (verticaly) and was injured.
We hope he’ll be okay.
Segment 4
We got a recap from Raw where Kevin Owens called out Steve Austin for the KO show at WrestleMania and Austin’s response.
Segment 5
Drew McIntyre, The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar) vs. Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss, Jinder Mahal w’Shanky
The match didn’t happen as the Happy Bunch attacked the Viking Raiders backstage and came out and attacked McIntyre.
McIntyre fought them off and held the ring with his sword held high.
Segment 6
Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair exchanged promises of making each other tap out at WrestleMania before Flair let the ring to chants of “You tapped out!”
Segment 7
Sasha Banks and Naomi vs. Shayna Baszler and Natalya
This was a decent but fast match Banks won after hitting a jawbreaker on Natalya for the win, with a special thanks to Queen Zelina for getting in Natalya’s way by accident.
Segment 8
Rick Boogs w/Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso
Boogs came out with his right leg wrapped and Jimmy offered them a tag title shot at WrestleMania if Boogs could beat Jey.
In a quick match, Boogs dominated Jey before hitting a Boogs Cruise for the win.
Segment 9
Intercontinental Championship Rematch – Sami Zayn vs. Ricochet
As the match was being introduced, Austin Theory came out and when the bell rang slapped Pat McAfee. McAfee went after him and bounced Austin into the ring apron and over the announce desk while pounding on him before security came out to separate them.
Segment 10
The match got underway and Ricochet kept the pace going as he looked to put Zayn away, but Zayn shoved him off the top rope and to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
This was a great match that went back and forth until Ricochet countered a Helluva Kick with a Recoil and a 630 splash for the win. This was an awesome match, but there was more to come.
Backstage, Flair and Ronda were brawling in the garage and taking out security guards before Flair suplexed her onto the hood of a car and locked in a modified clutch and choke hold before they were separated.
This was a decent show overall, but our thoughts are with Big E. We hope he’ll be okay and nothing is seriously wrong after that bad bump.
