WWE Smackdown Results returned as Ronda Rousey headed to the ring. She had little passion as she called out Charlotte Flair’s lack of knowledge at calling her a one trick pony.

She added that she learned the ankle lock from Kurt Angle, and that’s when Charlotte Flair came out.

Flair guaranteed Ronda she won’t make her tap out, and Ronda said she already did and will again. She promised she will embarrass and humiliate Ronda before tapping out.

Ronda dared her to try it and said she’ll give Flair a chance to take off her heels this time, and Flair left the ring amid chants of “You tapped out.”

The match was underway when the commercial ended, but it looked like there was only some gamesmanship and Natalya and Banks swapped out so Naomi and Baszler could face off.

Baszler gained the early upper hand with a ankle lock, and Natalya came in and went to work on Naomi’s leg.

Natalya tagged in and ran into a knee by Banks, and Banks hit a meteora on Natalya before sending her and Baszler tot eh floor.

Banks then sent Natalya into Carmella and Queen Zelina at ringside as they watched.

After throwing Natalya into Zelina, Banks hit a Jawbreaker for the win. This match felt rushed for whatever reason.

    The Usos Penitentiary unlocked

After touting their and Roman Reigns’ record breaking runs, they pointed out no one’s worth facing them, so Shinuske Nakamura and Rick Boogs came out and challenged them despite Boog’s right leg being in a cast or wrap.

Jimmy offered them a chance if Boogs can beat Jey they’ll get their shot and a ref came out.

Rick Boogs w/Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso

Jey went after Boog’s right leg right away, and then Boogs unwrapped his leg to show he’s not injured, and caught Jey off the ropes in a bear hug and powered into a stalling suplex while he bent one knee and another.

He then military pressed Jey ten times before dropping him, and Nakamura at a superkick on the floor after Nakamura missed a kick.

Boogs hit a Boogs Cruise for the pin and win, and Jimmy nailed him with his guitar before they left the ring.

Intercontinental Championship Rematch – Sami Zayn vs. Ricochet

As the match was being introduced, Austin Theory came out and jawed away at the announce table, probably demanding a spot.

When the match started, Austin then stood in front of McAfee and slapped him again, and McAfee jumped him from over the table and hammered away on Austin before throwing him into the ring apron and over the table as security came out to separate them.

Their confrontation continued up the ramp and security kept them separated as we headed to commercial.

Back from the commercial break, the match was ready to get underway as Michael Cole said McAfee was escorted out of the building and his future as a commentator is in question.

Ricochet avoided Zayn’s attacks and hit a kick and then picked up the pace with a leg scissors and dropkick.

Zayn ducked out of the ring and hung Ricochet up on the top rope and caught his leap for a powerbomb and a near pinfall.

Zayn tried to slow it down, but Ricochet kept picking up the pace and hit a elbow off the top rope.

Ricochet dropped Zayn with a kick, but Zayn pushed him off the top rope as we headed to commercial.

Cole continued to explain that McAfee had no right to attack Austin and sounding pretty upset over it as Zayn gained the upper hand over Ricochet.

Tensions are on the rise between @MsCharlotteWWE & @RondaRousey as we get closer to #WrestleMania! #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/uCVNGdLOS6

    — WWE (@WWE) March 12, 2022

Zayn caught Ricochet’s somersault cutter and turned it into a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near pinfall.

Ricochet countered a Helluva Kick with a Recoil and finished it with a 630 splash for the win.

This was an awesome match and great way to close out a decent show overall, but it wasn’t over and Ronda and Flair were brawling in the garage and taking out security guards as they tried to separate them.

Flair closed the night out by suplexing Ronda onto the hood of a car and stretching her back in a modified clutch and choke hold before they were separated.

This was a pretty cool way to end the night and a decent show overall, but our thoughts remain with Big E. That looked like a nasty bump he took and we hope he’ll be all right.

Let us know what you think about the show in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Results. He had a blast and can’t wait for next week.

    See you then!
