It has been quite some time since we’ve seen Alexa Bliss on WWE programming. As of the time of writing, her final match was back in 2021, a loss to Charlotte Flair. Following said match, Flair would rip up the Lily doll of Bliss, taking out part of her gimmick before sending her packing. Despite WWE airing vignettes of Bliss in therapy, there are currently no plans to bring her back to TV – something which Bliss has voiced her displeasure about.
Alexa Bliss Is Frustrated About Being Kept Off TV For So Long
After half a year out of the ring, we’d get the following report from Fightful Select about the WWE status of Alexa Bliss.
”Talent and creative were told that Bliss was very transparent about frustration that nothing of substance had been booked after being out of action for half a year. Talent that we heard from said that there was also discussion backstage that Bliss had voiced that directly to Vince McMahon.”

Considering Bliss was previously booked as a top star in the WWE women’s division for years now – this is a shock. Bliss is a five time WWE Women’s Champion, and two time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. Given how sparse the women’s roster is, having Bliss being completely healthy yet kept to the side is a baffling choice to say the least.
We can only hope that WWE is able to find something for the talented Bliss to do on TV. Even linking her back up with Nikki A.S.H in the tag team division would be preferable to not having her on TV in any form. Another wrestler who was recently stuck in creative limbo was Elias – who recently made his return to TV as Ezekial for a feud with Kevin Owens.
