‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies as the Newmans will once more dominate the episode.
This one has a slightly different feel to it as the Newmans have been backbiting a little, and with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) saying Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is similar to Victor Newman (Eric Braden), things are set to go boom.
Things could get interesting if the writers go after the Newmans in this one and the coming days.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday’ April 14: Victor accuses Adam
Victor’s not going to be happy with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) going out and making an offer to Ashland on his own, and he’s going to give Adam all sorts of grief about it.
Victor will rail that it shows they’re desperate and it’ll undermine Victoria’s plan. Chances are it’ll help Victoria’s plan in one way, but it’ll muddy the waters for her feelings wise.
Still, we think Victor’s biggest problem with this is it’s not his idea and he wasn’t consulted. It makes sense, especially when it puts Victor’s, er, the Newmans’ company and legacy in potential danger.
This will also put more strain on the family when unity is needed. Good thing Victor taught them his tactics. What could possibly go wrong?
And since Victor’s going to be so angry, we think Ashland hasn’t accepted the deal.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday’ April 14: Victoria pushes on
Since it looks like Ashland may not accept the deal as yet, we suspect it’s going to play into Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s plan in a way no one saw coming. Or they did and denounced it as a bad idea.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think she’s going to move forward with the plan by telling Ashland to take the offered deal.
Once he leaves Genoa City and gets the money, she’ll come to meet him and they’ll start fresh. They’ll use the capital to start their own empire, and what better way than to use Victor’s own money to do it?
Of course, she probably won’t follow after him and rip into him once they deal is done and he’s out of the company and her life.
There is the possibility that she’ll turn on Victor and her family since they’ve done nothing but doubt her. While throwing off Ashland would prove she can handle herself, the tease of being the one to topple her father could sway her.
We’re playing devil’s advocate here, but there is the distinct possibility that Ashland is innocent and Victor paid for the falsified documentation.
It’d explain how Ashland never thought of covering them, and how Victor knew where to look or who to plant the idea to look with.
If Victoria follows this line of thought and buys into Ashland’s innocence, things could get very interesting in Genoa City.
