‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
Things look like they’re going to settle down in Genoa City finally, but there’s always a twist coming up and we expect it to extend the current storyline with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Get ready with the popcorn and some comfort food, cause this ride isn’t over yet.

Now that the Newmans have apparently won the war with Ashland, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will want to know the truth, but will Ashland come clean?

It’s going to be an interesting scene as he’s on his heels and it’s a great tactic by Victoria as he’s more likely to be honest.
The interesting part here is if he’s honest and comes clean on everything, will that change her mind on what she’s about to do?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers refuse to believe Ashland was so stupid to be found out so easily that there has to be something more, like he was sick and the found “records” were falsified to make Victor Newman (Eric Braiden) and the rest look foolish.
Of course, that can all be explained away as lazy writing, but we really hope there’s more to it than Ashland failing to cover some simple bases.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 19: Distress call
And this is where the Ashland storyline will be kept alive as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will receive a distress call from either Victoria or Ashland.
The reason for the call? Well, it looks like Victoria’s going to be in a car accident.
This will galvanize the Newmans into action once more, and since the deal most likely wasn’t notarized and made official, Ashland could still be married to Victoria.
And then there’s the possibility that’s he’s with Victoria or set up the accident and he’s the one that makes the call. Since he didn’t abandon her like he did his best friend, it’ll raise questions about him truly loving her.
Remember when we said we hope there’s something more? This isn’t it.
This storyline may be with us for a while yet, and maybe we’ll get a conclusion to it we deserve after the constant letdowns to this point.
