‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
We’re in for a fun character building episode as we’re going to dive into the Abbott family for a while to give us a break from the Newmans.
Besides, the Abbotts have been too quiet for a while. It’s time they get to share in the fun and games.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, April 6: Questioning family ties
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has been against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) reaching out to his granddaughter under these mysterious circumstances.
She told Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as much as well as questioning Phyllis’ mentality and reasoning for urging Jack to keep digging.
While her concerns will be warranted in hindsight, we think she’s going to share her concerns that something more is going on with the other Abbotts.
They’ll probably believe it’s possible, but they’ll trust jack’s instincts and ability to handle situations.
Their faith in him could be costly, but no more so than his own confidence if he causes headache and possible ruin on anyone he cares about in Salem.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, April 6: Phyllis on the attack
Speaking of Phyllis, she’s not one to hold back when she sees an enemy, and now that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has actually made herself known to her, the gloves will be coming off.
If Phyllis has her way, she’ll eviscerate Diane before she can say another word, but Phyllis is also about information and she’s going to want to know what Diane’s goal is.
Diane will stick to her story on wanting to reconnect with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) after all of these years, but Phyllis won’t buy it. She has too many scars inflicted by Diane to trust her word on anything.
This will lead to a fun back and forth as Phyllis will press to learn the real truth while Jack will be caught in a position to stop Phyllis to keep some semblance of peace while also wanting her to do her thing.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are so looking forward to this confrontation as it’s what the show has needed for a long time.
We’ve had nothing but moping, gloating, and tears for the last few years and we’re about to get into some of what helped make this show awesome.
