‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re getting some interesting twists that have potential with the current and upcoming storylines.
On the plus side, we did have a brief break from the Newman family drama.
Now back to our regularly scheduled storylines.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, April 7: Victor steps in the way
With Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) getting ready to launch an attack on Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) or Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to better his position, things are on the verge of falling apart.
So, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will step in and put a halt to anything Adam’s planning to give Victoria time to put her plan into motion.
We feel we owe this to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as she reminded Victor to value his daughter over his company once again. It’d be nice if at some point he’d figure that out on his own, but it is what it is.
At least, he’s not totally ignoring Victoria now, though his respect and trust for her is lower than it’s been in a long time.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, April 7: Chance opens up
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has stood by Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd)’s side since he entered therapy, and she’s going to continue being there for him as he shares more of his feelings and thoughts.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious if he’s back to work yet or if he’s still in the wait and see stage, and we think that’ll greatly affect how Abby takes his opening up.
We doubt she’s feeling as supportive as she’s being, and she may try to talk him out of going back if he hasn’t yet.
It’s hard to blame her on that.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, April 7: Nick to the rescue
Like his father, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will want to interfere in things to help the process along. Unlike Victor, however, Nick’s first top ten concerns are Victoria’s wellbeing.
So we’re expecting him to do some of his typical moves by trying to talk Victoria out of her plan, or he may take more of a direct approach and try to shame Ashland into giving up the truth.
We’ve seen the former a thousand times, but the latter would be a pretty good scene despite hearing Ashland defend himself again.
The difference could be that he’ll profess his undying love for Victoria in a way that may make Nick question what they’ve been told.
It could even help sway suspicion to Adam as we’re sure it’s Victoria’s plan to use Ashland to destroy Adam’s credibility before she ousts him.
What do you think Nick will do to help? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
