The famous podcaster and UFC commentary Joe Rogan now intrigued the public with yet one more statement. He evidently has an ongoing love-hate relationship.
In the recent podcast featuring the former UFC star Jake Sheilds, he revealed that he has this relationship, not with a person, but with eating sugar. And don’t we all have this relationship in common?
Joe Rogan Has A Love-Hate Relationship
The first thing that you cut off completely, or at least try to reduce when trying to establish some regime and eating habits is the sugar. Depending on the season, or our current physical state we are deciding to implement this no-sugar policy during a given period of the year.
“Yeah, I feel sick. But while I’m eating it, I feel amazing. Yeah. While I’m chomping down. You get that. Those are the chocolate cream-filled ones. Those are my favorites just melt in your mouth. But as soon as I’m done, I’m so angry at myself. And then I feel shut for hours. It’s like the amount of time you feel like shit versus the amount of time. You feel good” -.Joe Rogan, explains.
Even though Joe is known for his incredibly good physique for his age, he cannot resist those ’30 seconds of good’ as he says.
The controversial podcaster is a mixture of a ripped and jacked up muscle-head and an intellectual and curious specimen. Coupled with this is his exceptional sense of humor. The exact figure that the public wants to see on their screens. No wonder why the podcast of this 54-year-old star is so popular.
He usually features a variety of guests on his podcast. From UFC competitors to bio lab scientists. Depending on the guest he elaborates on many different topics. In one episode you can hear and learn something about the fighting techniques, endurance training, and conditioning of some of the most successful sportspeople in the MMA industry. In another episode contrary to this, you can hear about the development of vaccines, NASA findings, astronomy, etc.
His love for martial arts started in his early teens and is still as intense as it was back then. He trains on a daily basis and keeps an enviable physical form.
His training routine consists of stretching, conditioning, boxing, grappling, and weight training. The podcaster is not new to the Yoga sessions as well. He often includes Yoga and breathing exercises because it helps him calm his body down and relax after his intense training session.
His diet involves a variety of protein-based foods, healthy carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Known to advocate a healthy living regime on his podcast, he is a great believer in the benefits that vitamins have on our immune system.
Because of his physique, the podcaster looks more like an athlete, so the things that he adverts on his podcast immediately have more sense since they are coming from a perfectly built individual.
