Khamzat Chimaev Smashed Gilbert Burns Despite Fasting For Ramadan Before UFC 273

Khamzat Chimaev Smashed Gilbert Burns Despite Fasting For Ramadan Before UFC 273

The welterweight rising star is an absolute beast. His deeds speak louder than his words and this makes him one of the most feared fighters in the UFC at the moment.

The Chechnyan boy is back to the gym, doing a training 4 days after his big win over Gilbert Burns. You need to go through some extreme shit and push your limits as much as you can in order to get ready for a fight. That way you can get the best results.

Khamzat Chimaev Smashed Gilbert Burns While Fasting For Ramadan Before UFC 273

Being an absolute monster involves much more than weight and cardio training. The secret behind Khamzats brute force is combining weightlifting, HIIT, and fighting. He reveals that he trains every day, regardless of the recommendations that you need to slow down with weights and with exhausting yourself before a fight.

“Yes, I train five times a day. When I am in a training camp ahead of a fight, after the fight, and on every ordinary day. Anything is possible when you are a dedicated human being. Champions are made that way!”

It was evident that the UFC fighter is one of the most dedicated and talented fighters in the MMA business. However, it was less known that he can accomplish this while FASTING for Ramadan.

In a recent interview, Daniel Cormier dropped a bombshell when he uncovered that the uprising star Khamzat was fasting the whole time. The last days of the preparations for the fight, on the day of the fight, and of course after the fight. All this while still doing five trainings a day!

We all know how rigorous and hard Ramadan fasting is. Imagine not eating, nor drinking anything at all including water, for a whole day – from sunrise to sunset. And on top of this, add five trainings a day. Now you get a picture of that how dedicated Khamzat Chimaev is.

“If I am not suffering, I feel bad” – is another of his mind-boggling quotes. This is not understandable for a regular man. You have to be special and you have to be able to put absolutely 200% into each of your trainings to get to this level.

Khamzat started from being unknown to being currently ranked at number three in the UFC Welterweight rankings. With his fast pace and strong will it can be said that has a real chance to become the champion in this division.

Proclaimed as the Muslim Conor McGregor, and the Toughest Fighter, we have not seen enough of this monster’s capabilities. He has the potential to meet and even overcome Conor’s fame and to overcome Khabib Nurmagomedov’s skills.

Will he prove that he is really the toughest of them all? We are all eager to see.
