Kim Kardashian opened up on a joke that was cut from SNL involving her ex Kanye West.

It is no secret that Kim has stated that she will not mock Kanye publicly on the grounds that he is still the father of their children. And in line with that, she held back from certain things when she made her SNL debut.
One of those included a prospective sketch that would have seen Chris Redd play Kanye West, who would then demand that Kim be his lawyer in their divorce. But after realizing that this could cause more harm than good, Kim decided to pull the plug on it.
In an episode of her show ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim said: “The divorce is so sensitive for him. I’m already saying that part in the monologue, I don’t want to like… maybe I could talk to Chris and think of something funny.'”
Despite her pulling back from this joke, Kim did have something to say about Kanye. She praised the rapper for the relationship that they had and made a light-hearted joke in the process over why their marriage had broken down.
In this way, Kim addressed the obvious elephant in the room, that being Kanye, without blasting him. In her joke at SNL, she stated: “He’s the richest Black man in America.
“A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing. His personality.”
The fans on social media had a lot to say on this. A certain subset of people felt that Kim still had some fondness for Kanye, given that she could have blasted him over how he reacted.
After all, it is not like Kanye has kept silent about Kim and Pete Davidson. In fact, he has slammed them publicly. One person wrote: “She still loves him. Skete better get his skates on.”
