Kim Kardashian finally admits to Photoshopping True’s face onto niece Stormi’s body in her Disneyland photos. The photos were taken back in October 2021 and show the two having a blast.
However, some observers noticed that something was up with the photos when Khloé mentioned taking True to Disneyland for the first time for her birthday. It was then that the rumors then roasting of Kim’s decision to Photoshop a picture of Kardashian kids began.
Kim–like myself and others–didn’t see what the big deal was but others online weren’t letting this go.
Kim Kardashian Finally Admits to Putting True’s Face on Stormi…But There’s a Reason!
So, why did she do it? What was so bad about the original photo that Kim K had to break out her Photoshop skills? Aesthetics, folks. Kardashian started things off by saying it’s not her thing to edit photos but she wants nothing to mess up good aesthetics.
On Instagram, she explained her motives for the editing job that was exposed quickly. While the post was deleted, Kardashian Social preserved them:
“OK OK sooooo you know I am all about my aesthetic! And my IG grid is pink and blue lately. Isn’t it so cute and well planned out!”
I’ll admit, her Instagram grid is clean. It’s like a usual IG in what is posted without the usual “get in where you fit in” approach to it. Please, continue, Kim:
“The original pics were Stormi! However I asked @kyliejenner if I could post them and she said she wasn’t really feeling posting at the moment and so I respect that! But it wasn’t going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly.”
Interesting. As others pointed out, an easier option would’ve been to simply post Chicago in her pink fit or just not post anything. She said Chicago was in all pink, there was a pink and blue aesthetic she was going for–so maybe just post Chi? Kim K never mentioned why those options weren’t considered but let her cook:
“You know how much a good aesthetic means to my soul. I will be damned if Kylie will ruin that for me and mess up my IG grid. So thank you True for taking one for the team!”
She ended the admission by saying that she didn’t think it would be “that big of a deal if her own mom questioned if she snuck her to a Disneyland for the first time.” Honestly, it probably wouldn’t have been if Khloé mentioned anything about it.
So, some extra effort to alter images only end up getting caught regardless but it was pretty harmless. I mean unless years from now Chicago asks Kim if she was not aesthetically pleasing enough to be in her Instagram grid from late 2021.
Overall, she gave a reason for the Photoshop job but didn’t promise it would be a good reason. What do you think of Kim’s explanation? Let us know down below!
