Kim, for her part, is already aware of what can happen when such intimate things are leaked. In 2007, her sex tape with Ray J was leaked much to her horror. And ever since that moment, Kim has made it a priority that nothing like this ever happens again.

A source said: “The comment was funny and dramatic in the moment with Kris and Khloe, to drive home the point that she really did not remember there being another tape.”
If these comments are taken to be true, then they are significant for the following reasons. First of all, Kim is using this as a way to generate publicity.
Therefore, she may actually benefit from the actual leaking of the tape, or at the very least people speculating about it. Secondly, her comments have divided the fan base with a certain subset of people believing that she has become increasingly desperate.
