The Creed Brothers never got their NXT Tag Team Championship shot after winning the Dusty Rhodes Team Team Classic. They were jumped from behind by two unidentified individuals, and MSK tried to jump the line. Not wanting to endure petty arguments, Imperium simply offered both a chance to become champion tonight – and a chance to take down their two biggest challengers.
MSK Stand Tall In Tag Team Chaos
Carter, Bartel & Brutus would start this match. Brutus was cut down before MSK would work on Bartel in their corner. Imperium would look for the advantage – with Aichner nailing a massive elbow strike. Julius Creed would get the tag and cut Aichner down, before Wes Lee was all but pounced out of the ring.
Lee would manage to fall into a tag off a German Suplex, before Carter was cut down just as fast. Julius hit a suplex on Bartel, before taking a knee strike from Carter. MSK would manage to cut down Julius and Bartel, almost getting a three count off a double stomp.
Bartel would go for the diving uppercut on Carter, before Aichner would toss him into the ropes. Lee was dropped with a huge lariat, but Carter made the save. Imperium was taken out on the outside, with Aichner launched into Bartel – before Lee hit the Space Flying Tiger Drop. Back in the ring, Lee hit the Spiral Tap, but Aichner was able to kick out.
Julius Creed would go up top, and a double superplex saw him land on Wes Lee & Fabian Aichner. Brutus would hit a cannonball to the outside, before a big spinebuster in the ring. Imperium hit European Bomb on the floor, before Carter blocked in the ring. A superrana into a powerbomb would follow, and MSK have reclaimed the NXT Tag Team Championships!
The Biggest Test Yet For Mandy Rose As NXT Women’s Champion
Mandy Rose was set to have a fairly easy night at Stand & Deliver. She simply needed to defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Cora Jade. Rose perhaps got a bit cocky however, and claimed she would actually defend her belt against any woman. Kay Lee Ray & Io Shirai heard this, and used their victory in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic to move into a chance to win singles gold instead. Now it’s a Fatal Four Way, and Rose has a high chance of losing her championship.
Everyone would gang up on Rose to start the match, before KLR & Shirai took aim at Jade. Rose yanked Jade to the outside of the ring and nailed a heavy slap, before Io & KLR nailed some dives. KLR & Io would finally have a chance to meet in the ring, and Io would narrowly avoid the KLR bomb with a sunset flip.
Shirai would look for the facebuster, but was flipped onto her feet. KLR dodged the 619, before Rose yanked Shirai to the outside. Jade would enter the ring and be taken down with a spinebuster, but Rose was pulled off the cover by KLR. Rose threw KLR onto Io on the outside, before focusing on Jade in the ring. A suplex would land, before Jade sent Rose to the outside and hit the cannonball senton. KLR would follow with the dive to the outside, before Shirai hit a moonsault on KLR.
All Out Women’s Wrestling Chaos
Back into the ring, Shirai nailed a double stomp, before the 619 landed. Missile dropkick would follow, but Rose was able to stop the pinfall. Rose would walk into the Koji Clutch from KLR, and Jade would be locked into the Texas Cloverleaf by Shirai. It was a race to see who could break out or tap first – and Jade would kick Shirai off into KLR.
Shirai would be dropped with a Gordbuster, before Rose hit a lariat to drop KLR. Jade hit the running hurricanrana, and would follow up on Rose with some forearm smashes – before a Canadian Destroyer right on the apron! KLR would crumble as she hit the floor, before Jade was hit with a 619.
In the ring, Shirai would hit the German Suplex on Rose, but wouldn’t get the three count. Shirai would take Rose off the top rope, before Jade broke the pinfall with the diving senton. Sliced Bread No. 2 would land before the DDT got a near fall, with KLR making the save.
KLR bomb landed, before heading up top. Shirai would stop KLR, and look for her signature moonsault. Rose rushed in with a knee strike as Shirai landed – and is still NXT Women’s Champion!
