Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
Tonight looks like it’ll be a fun one with several good looking matches lined up and a contract signing that’s guaranteed to go off the rails.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
Rousey sends a message
Adam Pearce was in the ring for the contract signing, and Introduced first Charlotte Flair and then Ronda Rousey.
Once they were in the ring, Pearce realized they didn’t have the contract and Drew Gulak ran it out. He’s Pearce’s new assistant.
Gulak offered to show a power point presentation about the rules of an I Quit match and Flair threatened to make him cry he quits again.

Ronda told her to leave him be and Flair informed her the only rule is to make their opponent say “I quit.”
She then listed ways to make Ronda say she quits and then she signed the contract.
Ronda countered that there’ll be no ref to step in and save her and Flair kept saying she beat her at WrestleMania.
Flair flipped the table and pulled out a kendo stick, but Ronda took her down and used the endo stick on Flair.
Gulak took it away, and Ronda hit a Samoan Drop on him and locked in an armbar while she signed.
Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston vs. Butch w/Sheamus and Ridge Holland
Woods rolled Butch up for a pair of pin attempts to start it off, then continued to hammer away with chops.
Butch turned it around and pounded on Woods, then worked on his left arm with a double knee drop and joint manipulation.

Woods sent Butch to the floor and dropkicked him across the announce table. A confrontation ensued and Butch took out Woods with a flying punch, then was restrained from going after Kofi as we headed to commercial.
Woods came back after taking plenty of punishment and dropped Butch with a leg sweep, but Butch grabbed his ear of get off Woods’ shoulder and hit a suiplex slam for a pin attempt.
Butch went for a DDT but Woods countered with a Back Woods for the win.
After the match, Butch threw a security guy over the barricade and headed through the fans.

GUNTHER w/Ludwig Kaiser vs. Teddy Goodz
GUNTHER went to work on Teddy’s left arm and slammed him through an armbar, then then brushed off a dropkick before hitting a big boot.
GUNTHER kept abusing Teddy with ease before locking in a Sleeper and turning it around for a powerbomb and pin.
Riddle w/Randy Orton vs. Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso
Riddle took Jey down right off the bat and went for a submission but Jey made it to the ropes to break it.
Jey threw Riddle off when he tried for a sleeper, and then hammered on Riddle before he ran into a kick.
Jey took over and nailed Riddle with several chops, the rolled out of the ring when Riddle went for a kick for a breather and caught Riddle’s dive through the ropes with a forearm and threw Riddle into the ring steps.

Jey suplexed Riddle onto the announce desk as we headed to commercial.
Riddle fought back and hit a Final Flash, then a Floating Bro for a near pinfall.
Riddle hit a draping DDT, and Orton dropped Jimmy on the announce table when he tried to distract Riddle.
Jey fought off an RKO and hit a pop up neckbreaker for a near pinfall.
Jey ran into a running knee, but hit a superkick. Riddle got his knees up to counter an Uso Splash and rolled Jey up for the win.
This was an awesome back and forth match.
