Anderson Silva is yet to start swimming in the boxing business. He was scheduled to fight Bruno Machado last week in UAE, Dubai. However, due to unforeseeable circumstances, the death of the UAE president Khalida bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the match is re-scheduled.
Even though his age is getting to him, the 47-year-old fighter still has a lot to offer to the world. In 2021 alone, he managed to defeat both Julio Cesar Chavez and Tito Ortiz in the boxing ring.
Anderson Silva Becomes A Successful Boxer – Open To A Boxing Match Against Jake Paul
Silva’s life is marking a very successful MMA career that spans throughout a period of about 25 years. His most successful days, or his prime comes as soon as he signs with the UFC in 2006. Making his debut at the UFC Fight Night 5 he is fighting and defeats Chris Leben in the most exciting way possible. He delivers a flying knee to Leben’s face and knocks him straight out. It is clear ever since, that he is one extremely tough fighter with whom you can’t play games.
Now, with his third boxing match against Machado, he’ll try and seek a hat trick in the boxing sport.
Speaking about Machado, he comes from MMA as well and has a current winning streak of six fights. He finishes three of these fights by a knockout. Since Dana White is not allowing him to enter into the UFC through the show ‘Looking for a Fight’ he struggles to find a way to ‘beat’ UFC fighters any way he can.
Anderson Silva, who is open to fighting anyone and anytime will take even on Jake Paul despite the 25-year difference between the two.
“It’s possible. People need to respect the Paul brothers. Those kids have talent, and they are opening people’s eyes to the good and bad in combat sports. I’m preparing my body for a challenge. We’ll see what happens.” – Silva says.
Paul needs to be really cautious when fighting Silva. Doing unimaginable and unbelievable things is not something that he has not done before.
When he made his MMA debut, back in 1997, Silva took on two fighters in the same event, on the same evening. He first enters the ring and faces Raimundo Pinheiro who he finishes with a submission, and after several hours, he fights and wins over Fabricio Camoes via KO.
Even though this is many years ago, and as Silva says he could have done anything back then, his condition and readiness are still on a great level. Maybe he cannot take on two fighters in the same event, however, he might easily present a great threat to any fighter in MMA, or boxing sport.
Seems like almost everybody wants to fight Jake Paul for the pay-per-view that the fight will generate. Nevertheless, Jake Paul making a successful career out of boxing is very plausible.
