‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re in for an interesting episode as there’s some scheming, good parenting, and obstacles in the way.
So a little of everything to keep us entertained, so let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, May 27: Phyllis recruits help
It doesn’t look like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going to give Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) a chance to decide whether to welcome Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) or cut her loose on his own.
To be fair, Phyllis has plenty of reason to want Diane out of Genoa City, and she’ll be hoping Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will be able to help Kyle see the light.
Or at the very least, she’ll task Summer with watching Kyle’s back for when and if Diane strikes.
Summer will be all too happy to agree since she’s not a fan on Diane either, and this could lead to some complications down the road.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious if the writers will have Diane being honest or if she’s playing at something. There’s plenty of potential here.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, May 27: Chelsea takes a hit
Things have been going back and forth for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) the last couple of weeks, and it doesn’t look like things will even out for her any time soon.
She’s going to suffer a setback in this episode, and we’re wondering what kind of shot she’s going to take.
While she and Summer didn’t agree to anything, we’re wondering is Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) or Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will take offense when Chelsea tells them about it.
Since she and Chloe just started their own thing with Fenmore, it’s easy to see how someone can take any shop talk with Summer as an insult or something more.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, May 27: Kyle’s best interests
The dominoes will continue to fall as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will do what he can to protect Kyle’s best interests.
We think this will mean more than dealing with Diane as he’ll try to keep Phyllis and everyone else from making a semi-stable situation worse, but it’s going to be a delicate balancing act.
Everyone will have Kyle’s best interests at heart, but there’s a fine line between protecting him and causing a huge storm. We’re looking forward to when Summer’s antics cause a rift between the couple.
Jack’s going to need a lot of luck on this one.
