‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get into the fun and games with some spoilery goodies.
We have plenty to share as we get to welcome Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) back to Genoa City as Allison makes her debut.
But more than that, there’s some surprises in the air with some twists and changing of career paths, so let’s dig in.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, May 4: Jack’s floored
After everything Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been through the last couple of months, he would probably enjoy a nice quiet time relaxing.

Unfortunately, he’s going to either witness Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s argument at the Grand Phoenix or Ashland will join him accidentally on purpose afterwards.
However it happens, Ashland’s going to make a confession that’s going to be another shock to Jack.
While him not having cancer isn’t much of one anymore, and never really was, we think it’s going to be something enticing.
One way the writers could go is Ashland could confess he’s happy there was an accident as it gave him a chance to prove his love to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Jack will be horrified because of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso)’s death, and Ashland will say he’s sorry that happened, but he’s focusing on the positive.
This would be an interesting look into the Ashland of old with Jack bearing witness, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have a feeling it’ll be more along the lines of Victoria is giving him another chance or he truly loves her.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, May 4: Kyle’s on the spot
Speaking of surprises, before she heads back to LA. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will ask Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is he’ll give her a second chance.
He’ll still be warring with himself whether he should or shouldn’t do this, but in the end he’ll give her the chance because it’ll help him complete part of himself.
This will probably be when Summer arrives as we think Kyle and Diane will meet up “accidentally” at the airport or just outside it.
It’ll be a nice welcome home for Summer to discover she has a mother-in-law and Kyle will have to do some fast explaining.
On the plus side, Summer will support him no matter what his decision is, and she’ll also channel her mom and become fiercely protective of Kyle.
