Kim Kardashian is beloved by many and now famed actress Glenn Close can be added to her long list of fans.
During a recent interview on SiriusXM Radio, the ‘Fatal Attraction’ star revealed that the one person she wanted to meet at the 2022 Met Gala was Kim Kardashian…and she was hoping that Pete Davidson could make her dream a reality. “I was dying to find Pete Davidson, who’s my friend, and meet Kim, but…,” Close revealed.

The unlikely duo became close last year when the 75 year old interviewed Davidson for cfor Variety’s Actors on Actors web series.
“They said that Pete Davidson wanted me to interview him, and I said, ‘What?’ And we ended up doing this, you know as everyone was doing Zoom, video together and we had the best time…and we stayed friends,” said Close.
She then gushed about the ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian, saying, “There are things about Pete that I really love and it’s, you know, he’s great to be around. I so respect the way he talks about what he’s going through, and you know, just that alone has I’m sure helped millions of people.”
Despite her deep desire to meet Kardashian, Close explained that she “didn’t get to mingle around” and missed her golden opportunity to brush shoulders with the high-profile couple.
Kim and Pete secretly began dating in October 2021 shortly after she hosted an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’. Kim was going through a complex divorce from Kanye West, with whom she shares four children – North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
Photos of Kim and Pete canoodling and holding hands began to surface, sparking speculation that they were a couple. Kim officially confirmed the romance in March 2022 by posting a photo of Pete laying in her lap.
Kim’s ex-husband Kanye has been very vocal about his disdain for Kim’s new relationship, often referring to him as ‘Skete’ and even sharing private text messages that Pete allegedly sent to him.
“Yo it’s Skete, Can you please take a second and calm down. It’s 8am and it don’t gotta be like this. Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f—king lucky that she’s your kids mom. I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet. Grow the f—k up,” the text purportedly read.
