From the first moment news that Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out broke, the WWE has gone on the offensive by going after them in every way possible, starting with Becky Lynch going on about them nonchalantly leaving.
Later in the night Corey Graves called them unprofessional for their actions.
Since then, we’ve heard stories from everyone except Banks and Naomi, and the WWE has looked worse and worse despite trying to control the narrative.
Fans are divided on the topic, but most seem to be supporting Banks and Naomi along with other wrestlers, mostly not affiliated with the WWE of course, have come out in support for them as well.

Tired of the disrespect
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry was the latest to speak about it on Busted Open Radio podcast with hosts Ryan McKinnell and Mark Henry talking with AEW’s owner Tony Kahn.
During the show, Banks and Naomi came up and Henry let his feelings be known.
“My issue was not even with the walkout. My issue was not even with the disagreement. Or the disclaimer. My issue was with people on the show saying that was unprofessional because I’m going to tell you right now, if that was my wife and I’m working on that show, I’m walking down to the announce table and I’m going to say, “Hey, you stay professional. Do your job and then I won’t have to walk for here to the ring to tell you to not to that again.’”
It’s hard to miss that he was disappointed in Jimmy Uso for not standing up for his wife, especially when it’s hard to believe Jimmy wouldn’t know and be behind Naomi walking out.
Of course, some fans took his comments the wrong way and reverse engineered it to say Henry said he’d threaten the commentators.
He focused more on Corey Graves’ comments.
“You talk about taking your ball and going home, you’re going to ruin a lot. You can’t do it with pride. It was not right, it was wrong as hell for him to say that about another talent that he worked with. He gotta walk the halls with, eating catering with, flying together with. It was not his place to say that. It was not Becky Lynch’s place. The whole point if the office told them to say that they were wrong for doing that and they put them in a bad spot. You keep that opinion to yourself and not on the air.”
To be fair, Graves most likely had Vince McMahon in his ear ordering him to say it. Jim Ross has stated Vince ordered them to say various things they wouldn’t normally.
It’s not hard to imagine that if a commentator refuses to say what he wants, Vince will replace them. For better or worse, it’s one of the perks of being the kind of one’s empire.
