Rhea Ripley might be about to become one of the most talked about names in all of professional wrestling. Over the past few years, she’s been able to constantly improve in every aspect of the game. However now, she’s got one of the greatest mentors you can ask for, as she’s joined forces with Edge & Damien Priest. Ripley is ready to learn as much as possible and become a dominant force – and no one should get in her way, even WWE Hall of Famer and wife of Edge – Beth Phoenix.
Rhea Ripley Tells Beth Phoenix To Get On The Side Of Judgement Day, Or Get Beaten Down
While speaking on 99.5 WKDQ – Ripley would send a warning to the wife of Edge. Either get on the side of Judgement Day, or step into the ring and prove she can hang with a modern powerhouse of the women’s division. Ripley would be quoted saying the following.
“I haven’t spoken to Beth, but I have been seeing a lot of posts on Twitter. I don’t know if she’s very happy about me joining Judgement Day. Beth is gonna have to put her emotions aside and be on our side, pretty much, or she’s gonna have to fight me… Beth Phoenix is my dream opponent and really, if she disagrees with what we’re saying, I wouldn’t mind stepping in the ring with her and settling it once and for all.”
Elsewhere in this same interview, Ripley would express great excitement at the chance to learn from Edge – and getting to work alongside one of her best friends in Damien Priest. A fourth member is expected to join Judgement Day, but they’re being set up for a trios match against AJ Styles, Finn Balor & Liv Morgan – likely for Hell in A Cell.
This match would suck in months of storylines into one big match. Fans have been wanting to see Styles & Balor team up since they both landed in WWE, both formerly being leaders of the BULLET CLUB faction. Balor started the faction back in 2013, and was kicked out by AJ Styles & Young Buck in 2014. Styles was later kicked out by Young Bucks & Kenny Omega in 2016.
