At WrestleMania 38, Seth Rollins had no chance to know who he was facing. He had an opponent hand picked by Vince McMahon himself, and it was Cody Rhodes – fresh off major a run in AEW. Rhodes helped to build a new wrestling empire, but now is back to claim the WWE Championship. However now, Rollins has had a chance to figure out this new and improved version of Rhodes, and has called for a rematch. Rhodes accepted, and they will look to steal the show once again.
Seth Rollins Had 36 Days To Scout Cody Rhodes

Rhodes was able to fight free, and would go for a delayed suplex, dropping Rollins face first before nailing Disaster Kick. Rollins would beg off, but Rhodes would respond with punches to the head. Disaster Kick was set up a second time, but Rollins blocked and shoved Rhodes to the floor.
Rhodes would be choked on the ropes, before Rollins applied a sleeper hold. Rollins would be unable to get the submission, and Rhodes went for a sunset flip in the corner – but Rollins again had a counter. Rhodes would look for a stalling superplex, and Rollins did not have an answer for that.

Rhodes would almost hit the Vertebreaker, only for Rollins to go for a roll up with a handful of tights. Rhodes blocked, and grabbed a handful of tights on the roll up himself – and has once again beaten Seth Rollins.
