’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Alexei and Loren Brovarnik were big winners at the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted. The couple, who first graced our television screens during season three of the popular series took home the coveted golden popcorn award for ‘Best Reality Romance’.
With so many people finding love on reality TV these days, the couple had some pretty stiff competition. Also nominated for the same award were Joe Amabile & Serena Pitt from ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, Nany Gonzalez and Kaycee Clark from ‘The Challenge: Spies, Lies & Allies’, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix from ‘Vanderpump Rules’, and Yandy and Mendeecees from ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Alexei and Loren Brovarnik Win ‘Best Reality Romance’ At MTV Movie & TV Awards
Alexei and Loren quickly became fan favorites when they documented their quest to get their K-1 visa, allowing them to live together in the United States after getting married within a ninety day period. The happy couple met back when Loren visited Alexei’s native country of Israel during a birthright trip.
They fell in love and have been married for seven years. Loren is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child, as they are already proud parents to sons Shai, 2, and Asher, 8 months.
Despite the fact that the couple’s popularity has always been evident – they even scored their own reality spinoff on TLC, “Loren & Alexei: After the 90 Days”, Alexei and Loren seemed stunned to have won the honor of having the best reality romance.
When asked what it felt like to be nominated by a correspondent from Entertainment Tonight, Alexei said, “It’s crazy, like, we never thought about any of this,” before Loren added, “We’re just us.”
The lovebirds were interviewed once again after their surprise win and expressed how having such a large audience remains a novel concept to them. “I don’t think it’s hit us how many people watch us still, to this day,” said Loren while on the red carpet.
When asked about what it means to be the recipient of such an award, Alexei gathered his thoughts before saying, “It’s special. It’s no joke, right? I mean, we didn’t think about any of this but it’s big right?”. Loren chimed in saying “I’m shooketh” and thanked the fans for voting for them.
Alexei and Loren also promised that viewers will see much of Loren’s pregnancy as well as the arrival of baby number three on an upcoming season of ‘After The 90 Days”.
