Emily is now a villain on the show for constantly criticizing her fiancé’s attempts at parenting. The couple are also dealing with the unwelcome interjections of Emily’s parents. On June 5 episode, fans watched Kobe told Emily to “shut the f*** up,” in the presence of her mom, Lisa while shoveling manure on the family farm. However, fans are still on Kobe’s side and have been blasting Emily for trying to manipulate Kobe and mocking his fear of horses.
On Reddit, user u/luckystrikeme says that Emily and her mom’s treatment of Kobe makes them uncomfortable. The user wrote, “[Horses] are huge, strong, and intimidating…even being next to them when you aren’t used to them is nerve wracking.” Many other commenters agreed with the poster, with one explaining that they are not surprised at Kobe’s uneasiness because horses are relatively uncommon in Africa as a whole, let alone his home country, Cameroon.

Fans think Emily is a controlling, manipulative, and a toxic partner, and they feel sorry for Kobe’s attempts to establish a relationship with his son, Koban while Emily is intentionally sabotaging their budding relationship.
