Normally a celebration would be happening in Port Charles to mimic the show reaching 15,000 episodes, but ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers are expecting anything but.
Of course, when it comes to soap operas, nothing beats celebrating with a huge drama unfolding. Especially if it threatens one of the main characters.
Without further ado, let’s dig into the spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, June 21: Laura finds support
It looks like Laura Collins (Genie Francis)’s time in office is going to be cut short by an unnamed political opponent, and she’s going to find support from her friends and family.
As Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will point out, her supporters are the committee to save her skin.
But from whom is anyone’s guess, and we suspect it’ll involve Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) in some way. Since she voiced her belief that he’s responsible for trying to take her out it makes sense.
The main driving force for her will be that Victor had a hand in killing Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), plus the timing of his arrival.
Though we’re still trying to figure out how so many goodie-two-shoes are taking the death of a rapist and serial grifter so hard, Luke was loved and it’ll be a way for Victor to chip away at Laura for his end game.
There is always the chance that it’s someone else and Victor’s plotting something else, but we’ll find out in this episode as Laura confronts her opponent and the reasoning should start to become clear.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, June 21: Curtis steps into mob business
In a twist we didn’t expect to see any time soon, it looks like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) may be crossing over to the dark side when he gets tied up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers wonder if this has something to do with the problem at the docks Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) caused, or if it’s going to involve something else.
And how Curtis is drawn in has us curious as well since he walks the line to keep from doing direct business with organized crime.
We think it’ll be more of a mediation type of position Curtis will take since Selina and Sonny trust him, and that’s one way to keep things honest and down the middle between them.
If this is involving the docks, we’re curious what’ll happen if Selina learns Michael’s been causing the trouble and if Sonny will end up sacrificing himself for his son in the end.
