‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to stroll through Port Charles and take in the sights.
We have a feeling some fun spoilery goodies are going to come in handy as there’s going to be some fun happening in his episode as futures are at stake as ice becomes thinner the further we go out.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, June 23: ELQ’s future’s at stake
As the shareholders arrive for their meeting to determine the future of ELQ, there are going to be some fun exchanges and twists coming up.
The agenda for this meeting will be two fold as they’ll be looking to remove Valentin as CEO and clear the way for ELQ and Aurora to merge.
The problem with this is Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will be pushed aside as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will continue to work to erase various people’s roles.
This is the only thing we can see for his reasoning as he seemed to withhold Ned’s offer from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) or exaggerate his and Ned’s interaction at the time.
Not to mention keeping Ned out of any discussions involving the companies and offering him a placating position neither of them would ever take.
So, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers expect this to be where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) steps in and Ned will side with him, securing Valentin’s future and eliminating the merger.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, June 23: Carly’s news
With the meeting taking place, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be talking with Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), and talk will turn to ELQ and the anxiety Olivia has about Ned and how it’ll work out for him.
She’s not necessarily on his side, and she’ll be less in agreement if he joins with Valentin, but there’s going to be an added point to her contention.
Carly will tell her about her investment and how it helped Aurora’s stock to shoot up to make them more enticing.
Here’s the potential problem with Ned and Valentin join up and stop the merger: Aurora’s stock will plummet.
They’ve been pushing the merger as a way to augment their stock, and it would be very profitable if the merger happens.
But if it falls through, the other investors could view Drew and Michael and not following through on their promises and rapidly sell.
If it happens fast enough, the sales could brash through the floor and bankrupt the company in minutes, and Carly could lose a substantial amount of her money that could push her toward her own bankruptcy.
That would really suck since she was just trying to help Michael and Drew out, but we’ll have to wait and see how it unfolds.
