Discover Why Joe Rogan Bought A $20 Million Mansion And Moved To Austin, Texas

Discover Why Joe Rogan Bought A $20 Million Mansion And Moved To Austin, Texas

When you are the biggest name in any given profession like Joe Rogan in podcasting, the money comes flowing by itself. As a result, you’ll be able to make many purchases that seem unattainable to the common people. Joe Rogan is the most popular podcaster in the world and hosts the arguably most controversial podcast globally.

Having this in mind, he can afford to buy a mansion in any place on the planet. And Rogan chooses Austin, Texas. Two years ago, the podcaster buys a luxurious mansion worth millions. The bid that Joe Rogan did on the property is never officially shared with the public, however, the information on its worth somehow leaks and it sits at an astonishing $20 million. This is four times the worth of his previous home.

Discover Why Joe Rogan Bought The $20 Million Mansion And Moved To Austin

The designer of the mansion is the famous Benjamin Wood, who even spends some years in it before Rogan buys it. That fact alone speaks of the quality and the attention that is dedicated to the design of each detail of the mansion. According to the designer the place goes through a massive transformation when he gets his hands on it. All this in order to transform it into an Asian-inspired modern mansion.

The location of this incredibly luxurious mansion is exactly on the coast of Lake Austin. It is even outside of the suburbs, there is no noise, nor crowds, exactly what Rogan is looking for. The UFC color commentator shares several times that he cannot stand the crowds. He can’t stand the city noise, the cars, or the people rushing somewhere. His life is dynamic enough outside of his home, so when he returns to his place at the end of the day, all he wants is peace and no disturbance by anyone or anything.

Before moving to Austin, Rogan spends several years in Los Angeles. But the size of the city and the crowds didn’t suit him, so he decides to move to the ‘smaller’ Austin. Even though Austin is not a small place, the population is less than Los Angeles by 4 times. Los Angeles has somewhere around 4 million inhabitants, and Austin sits at around 950 000.

The mansion sits on an enormous property and measures more than 10 000 square feet. Joe Rogan reveals that it has eight bedrooms and even ten bathrooms. When the podcaster enters his property, he has a car trail that leads directly to in front of the mansion where the entrance is.

What gives a great look to the property is the giant garden and the yard where the family usually gathers to enjoy the privacy and peace that the mansion offers.

What kind of a mansion would it be, if it didn’t have a pool? The mansion has a big pool and several garages where Joe Rogan keeps his vintage vehicles.

Is the shift that Rogan does from Los Angeles to Austin a good choice? What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
