We are all aware of the controversies that boost Joe Rogan’s popularity these days. His latest is the use of the N-word for which he publicly apologizes.
Dwayne The Rock Johnson, on the other hand, is known for his wrestling, and acting career, and last, but not least he is known for the racist and transphobic comments that he has made throughout his career.
Dwayne The Rock Johnson Turns On Joe Rogan For Using The N-Word – What a Hypocrite!
Old Tweets emerge from the WWE star where he accuses a woman of using ‘tranny tricks’ and a video of him doing a Chinese accent in an offensive manner. Another video of him gains popularity lately. In this video, he calls his rival John Cena ‘a bloated transvestite Wonder Woman ready to fight crime.’
His old tweets, dating from the 2010s are emerging recently. While the wrestling clips are script writings that he is told to say, the tweets are his own. As a reply to one Tweet from a woman back in 2011 where she writes that she was a The Rock fan, but ‘until I realized that the Rock is a douche’ he replies with the most transphobic reply you can think of. Like the world is left short of insults, so he must use a transphobic one. He tweets back – ‘It’s not our fault you’re turning tranny tricks to put yourself thru nursing school.’
Donald Trump Jr. gets a glance at these old tweets and cannot resist, but shed more light on them.
He posts screenshots of all the racist and transphobic comments that the star did throughout his Twitter saga and asks if Twitter is using some sort of double standard.
“Wow @TheRock, you can’t just try to quietly delete transphobic attacks without giving a groveling apology and expect to ever work in Hollywood again. Do Under Armour, Ford, Apple, Netflix and the rest of his sponsors/partners agree with this?” – he tweets.
As soon as the post is public, Caitlyn Jenner faces a trigger and replies to Donald Trump Sr.’s son, “Hmmmm… the double standard is real. @TheRock I love you but cmon dude … let’s be real. Cancel culture has got to go.” She continues and thanks Donald Trump Jr. and urges him to “Use his platform for highlighting.”
These tweets are searched for, specially selected, and purposely re-emerged in the air, by someone that wants to cancel and defame the Rock. The same story as with Joe Rogan. Someone sat down and watched a massive number of episodes, cut 2-second segments of each where he says the N-Word, and put it together to initiate false racist accusations against the podcaster.
Dwayne Johnson is always supportive of his pal Joe Rogan. He even shows interest to feature on his podcast some years ago, however, now all of a sudden he is fencing himself off his support.
Don Winslow, the author of crime novels such as Savages, The force, and the Cartel Trilogy points out this support that The Rock has for Joe Rogan and asks if he is aware of Joe’s ‘racist’ nature.
“Dear TheRock. You’re a hero to many people and using your platform to defend Joe Rogan. A guy that uses and laughs about using the N-word dozens of times is a terrible use of your power. Have you actually listened to this man’s many racist statements about Black people?” – the writer tweets.
To this, the Rock immediately replies with the excuse of being ignorant.
“I was not aware of his N-word use prior to my comments. But now I’ve become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me.” – The Rock tweets back.
A learning moment, but a learning moment for what? Learning that you are a complete hypocrite? The public asks. He judges a person for his allegedly racist use of a word while he himself is a transphobic and racist person. Of course, Joe Rogan supporters come back at the Rock with comments on this.
“Having watched @TheRock’s pro wrestling career from the start, I can promise you that he has said many things himself that would get him canceled today as a sexist & homophobe. This is what makes his 180 on @joerogan even more pathetic & cowardly. Just YouTube his old promos…” – one supporter tweets.
Many journalists and public personalities have taken sides across the Rock in this ‘Twitter trial’ as well.
Tim Pool – the citizen journalist, Benny Johnson – the conservative columnist are some of the people who respond to this. The first makes a sarcastic tweet ‘thanking’ The Rock for speaking out against racism. The latter shares a video of The Rock doing impressions of the Swedish language. He captions it – “Can you smell the hurtful racism the Rock is cooking?”
Joe Rogan on the other hand settles up the situation with an apology video. Even with the video out there, people are still calling for the cancellation of his podcast on Spotify. However, the podcast being a $100 million business is not something that can easily cease to exist and lose popularity.
Even the Rock, while defending himself from the racism and transphobia accusers, he takes notice of Joe’s apology. He re-tweets the video and shares a supportive comment.
“Great stuff here brother. Perfectly articulated. Look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you.” Will we see the Rock on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast any time soon?
If so we are hoping for an explanation of his past tweets, as well as an explanation of his latest sidings with the Joe Rogan accusers.
