YouTuber, model, comedian, producer, promoter, boxer. All the above can be said for the rising boxing star Jake Paul, however, there is one thing that he surely isn’t. And that is a soccer player.
The YouTuber has a winning streak of five matches in the world of boxing. His professional record is 5-0-0. This is most probably enough to proclaim him as a fairly good boxer. However, the YouTuber knows how to surprise the world and does not sit still in one place and in one profession.
Jake Paul Shows Off His Soccer Skills – Gets Roasted By People
Over the weekend Jake Paul shares a video of himself having a ball with some friends. In the video, he says “Let’s go, Liverpool, championship game. Let’s go Reds, Mo Salah – this one’s for you,” and runs toward the ball before kicking it to the goal.
Eventually, the ball ends up in the net, however, his technique of kicking it is like that of someone who has two left feet. This is something that left the fans and followers surprised by his inability to handle a ball.
“Look at his legs. Like a 2-year-old who just learned how to walk”, “Lmaoo such an ugly technique.” These are some of the comments surrounding the video.
The internet massively agrees that he should stick to his current profession and not experiment with different sports. Moreover, he mistakes the “League” with “game”. There are soccer fans that resent him for this as well. There is no end to the remarks for the video.
Yet again, he reaches his goal. Once more he is in the spotlight. There is no such thing as bad popularity. There is only popularity.
Lastly, why would he care what someone on the internet says about his soccer skills? He is not a soccer player and most probably he will never be.
He is good where it matters. Jake has a boxing success that is rare for anyone that is so new to the sport. He beat up names that are in the fighting business for decades.
Furthermore, he is slowly but steadily proving himself in the promoting business as well. He is one of the people who are responsible for allowing Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor to make the payment of their lives.
